Our Ventus 3 is a modern, high-performance glider with excellent all-round flight characteristics. Designed with custom airfoils specifically developed for the Ventus and featuring a thickness of less than 9%, it excels in both thermal soaring and high-speed performance.

In thermals, the Ventus 3 handles in a very predictable manner and can be flown at very low speeds. Thanks to its thin airfoil, it quickly accelerates even from low altitudes and maintains speed for a long time. Long, fast flybys followed by steep climbs are particularly enjoyable. Slope landings are also very easy due to the butterfly configuration and bottom-hinged flaps.

Built using advanced MIBO technology, the Ventus 3 offers exceptional strength combined with a low all-up weight – ideal for all flying conditions. It is perfect for any pilot looking to enjoy the sky with the best Ventus 3 available.

The ailerons and flaps are bottom-hinged, ensuring excellent airfoil integrity and performance. The kit is highly pre-fabricated for easy assembly and includes:

• GRP/carbon fuselage with Kevlar-reinforced nose,

• Carbon-Herex sandwich rudder,

• Carbon-Herex sandwich construction wings and tailplane panels.

The wing features a strong I-beam spar made of high-modulus unidirectional carbon with CF-Herex caps, incorporating a robust 50 x 18 mm carbon wing joiner. Both the wings and tailplane panels are delivered fully finished: 2K painted, UV-resistant, seam-free, and polished.

The wing of the Ventus 3 is composed of two sections (center and outer panel) and an additional removable winglet for easier transport. It is designed to house 8 servos. The elevator also supports dual servo installation, providing extra redundancy.

The model was developed with the help of original documentation provided by the real aircraft manufacturer, Schempp-Hirth, ensuring maximum scale accuracy and aerodynamic fidelity.
